Long time today saw

Atlast saw a cricket match in which India was able to trounce a equally worthy opponent that too by a margin of 152 runs.Dravis was smashing. But i was wee disappointed that the Kerala lad Sreesanth failed to impress as much as i expected(Psst..Am from Kerala).Tendulkars return to form and Pathans Absolutely fantastic Batting and bowling. And Murali Karthik who bowled well today looked like Salman in Tere Naam with his wierdo hairstyle. He spent have spent a lot of time straightening his curly hair.Even Mahindra Dhoni impressed with his batting. This means Bad news for parthiv patel. And Ganguly must be feeling bad missing from the action......

INDIA:a failed democracy?

Many of us may not have a very pleasant opinion about our motherland especially regarding how our country is governed. We perpetually complain how bad our 'netas' are and how a 'good' dictator would have helped sorting things out.we even have films in which the hero who is an ordinary man suddenly takes over and tries to remove corruption on his own.(Read indian,muthalvan,nayak,anniyan....) But have we ever wondered how lucky we are to have a democracy. In a region full of failed states and troubled countries we are the only live and kicking democracy.true we experienced a brief spell of dictatorship under Mrs. I but that was it. Though ours is a one full of flaws and we experience trouble in Bihar in conducting election,we have a elected government in the city and the states. The whole world predicted soon after independence that democracy was not suited for a nation like India which consisted of people from many religions and languages. They did the same during Mrs.I's rule. But we are still a democracy.Ofcourse with such a big population we may have problems and development might be snail pace,But at last we have our right to choose our rulers...... Windows vs Linux

I was thinking about the the same old war between Windows and Linux and how Bill Gates is making immense amount of money. Also abt why MS is very secretive about the source code.As everyone knows once the source code is out windows will lose its charm as coders will make a new OS including the best features of both Windows and linux. My stand on the issue is that you never get the recipie of food stuff bought from the shops. Why even many hotels and even women are so secretive about their 'secret recipies'?Then how can you ever expect MS to release the windows source code. Ofcourse windows has lots of bugs and all that problems.By Bill Gates is not forcing anyone to buy windows. The best thing possible is to reduce prices drastically which can very well curb piracy.

Nobel Prize : A farce?

One astonishing thing about the nobel prize is that it has been won by women only 5 times:That too three in one family.Twice by Ms Marie Curie and once by her daughter. And the Mahatma Gandhi never won it in the peace catogery......

Chandramukhi , Anniyan , Gajini.......????????

The last three films i saw had one common thing? One of the main characters had a problem regarding their mind. Are the film makers running out of stories or the actors beleive that this is the only way to prove their acting skills?????
